1860: Plate Proofs from Perkins Bacon plates, the 2 d., 4 d. and 6 d. values, Imperforate in blocks of four (the 6 d. sheet marginal at right), all engraved in black on thin white unwatermarked, ungummed paper. 2 d. close at lower right and ironed horizontal bend, otherwise all very fine with large margins all round. A delightful and very scarce set.
