ARGENTINE - SAINTONGE 12/FEB/1865", single rate "8" handstamp (tenth of franc) , the letter was carried on this ship to Rio de Janeiro, then transfered to steamer BEARN, which departed on 25/FE and 2 days later SANK south of BAHIA, passengers and mail were rescued....
