Auction #1923 ARGENTINA: Selection of good lots, rarities and "special material"

12/DE/1866 Buenos Aires - Rio de Janeiro - (24/DE) - Bordeaux: Cover sent with postage paid (P.D.) covered with 40c. + 80c. Napoleon III of 1862, with “anchor” cancel. It was carried by the steamship Carmel to Rio, and from there by paquebot Estremadure (J3). Upon dispatch it received the octagonal marking "BUENOS AYRES - 12 DEC 66", and on reverse receiving handstamp of VARZO 24/JA/67, VF quality!
