J Nº4 - 28/FEVR/1870", postage dues mark for 1 Franc (single rate, "10" handstamp) and arrival backstamp of 2/AP, VF quality!

Endorsed “via Lisbon and Spain”, it received on front the red "OUTRE MER AMB IRUN A BORDX 17/2" double circle, and arrived at Bordeaux the following day, where it paid dues for 1F. 20c. (“12”), VF quality!

Napoleon III of 1863/70, cancelled with blue “anchor” cancel, and taxed on arrival “2 Pesetas”. On reverse it bears a violet arrival handstamp of Lisbon "P. TRANSATLANTICO 26/10", transit of Badajoz, and Málaga arrival for 29/OC/71, excellent quality!

30/SE/1871 Buenos Aires - Bordeaux, per paquebot Gironde: Complete folded letter dispatched at the Consular Agency with postage paid: boxed “P.D.” in red. The double rate was paid with 2 stamps of 80c. Napoleon III and one of 40c. Republic (1870/1 issue), tied by “anchor” cancels. On arrival it received the "1 BRESIL 1 BORDEAUX 29 OCT. 71" marking in red, and on reverse datestamp of Bordeaux, very fine quality, very interesting!
