Norway. 1916-17 Cover from Trondheim to a P.O.W in France and postcards from Loken, all from German internees from the minelayer S.M.S "Berlin", which was torpedoed off the Norwegian coast, the cover with a red "PASSERER" label on the flap, the cards with the cachets "Krigsfangepost Norge" and "Oberleutuant / U. Orltester Lageroffizier", or oval "KONTROLLERT / I2" and circular "DEUTSCHES INTERNERUNGS LAGER / LOK", both with small "geprift". Also a card from Stockholm franked 5ore to a ‘Berlin’ internee at Hommelvik, Trondheim, and a 1915 Feldpost cover from the ship with Kais. Deutsche Marine Schiffspost No. 88 c.d.s. A scarce group.
