Worldwide Stamps and Postal History

1912 (Dec 18) Registered cover to Samarai with 4d paid by two pairs of Papua 1d rose-pink (one stamp folded over the edge) each cancelled "KULUMADAU S.E.D / PAPUA" c.d.s with a further strike below, scarce "REGISTERED / WOODLARKS B.N.G" applied to both the front and reverse. Opened out for display, the reverse reduced by about one inch at left side (with no apparent loss to any stamps or postmarks), attractive and very scarce. Photo on Page 203.
