Lithographed in the Colony: First Issue 1852 (Sept): Lithographed (1 d.) blue on yellowish, a used example in a lovely sky-blue shade from the 1st consignment with good to large margins all round, tied to 1852 entire letter to New York, internally dated Sept 16th, tied solely by circular "NEW-YORK / SHIP / 7" charge datestamp in black (Oct 18). A magnificent cover: a truly exceptional early usage and an extremely rare entire for the connoisseur of this issue. Cert. BPA (1993).
