AFRICA" cds in black, with "KAMERUN" arrival also in black dated 12 December 1892. Corner crease lower left and minor rubs to both sides which are not obvious and do not detract. Rare early example. Mail to Cameroon is also not common. Cert RPSL (2017) which states "..red ink matches the ink on postally used cards with deletion applied after the obliteration.." and "...is not an official issue." To the reverse a "LAGOS / W. AFRICA" datestamp in black and "Bestellt / vom / Postamte 30" cds dated 23 December 1896. Heavy central vertical fold and care worn in places especially around the edges as would be expected for a cover of this size, otherwise in remarkable condition.
