Rural Post 1913: Cover franked by 1913 ¼ d. brown in a horizontal pair with Plate Number '1' in margin below, used on cover to Georgetown tied by "WEST BAY / GRAND CAYMAN" double ring datestamp in violet, with 'Georgetown / Grand Cayman' cds alongside in black of receipt, with repeated strike on reverse. Some overall aging but extremely rare - the opening day of the West Bay Post Office.

Jamaica Used in Cayman Islands 1889/94: Jamaica 2 d. green (Gi 28), cancelled in Georgetown by large part oval "GRAND CAYMAN / POST OFFICE" (1891) datestamp struck in violet. Minor bend not mentioned on cert., and not detracting from the the superb appearance. Very rare. Cert. BPA (1983) Gi = £ 950.

1907 (Nov): Provisional "1D" on 5 s. salmon & green, handstamped at Georgetown, a used example, correctly franking a 1907 postcard (Sheddon Road, Georgetown) to Grand Turk, Turks Islands, tied by "George Town / Grand Cayman" cds (Nov 29) in black. 'Kingston / Jamaica' transit adjacent (Dec 7) and 'Turks Islands' arrival cds 10 Jan, 1908). The card is written by George Hirst, Cayman Islands Commissioner with a Christmas message for H.H. Hutchings who was to succeed Mr. Hirst in 1912 as Acting Commissioner. Superb and extremely rare with just two postcard usages recorded bearing this adhesive.

1900/52: Collection of almost exclusively unused material including complete sets, particularly from George V to George VI. Noted 1900 1d. red Jamaica used with 'CAYMAN / CAYMAN ISLANDS' cds (Gi Z12 = £ 650 - ex Collections Graham Booth & John Byl). There is range of Specimen examples such as; 1900 ½ d. pale green and 1 d. rose-carmine unused no gum each overprinted 'SPECIMEN' in black and with overprinted 'ULTRAMAR' (As Gi 1s-2s), 1938/48 Pictorial issue set of fourteen unused all perforated by hooded or diagonal 'SPECIMEN' fresh and very fine large part og. (Gi 115s-126s), the full set of twenty-two and the 1935 Waterlow Pictorial issue set of twelve unused and the set of twelve perforated 'SPECIMEN' diagonally unused largely fresh and fine minor imperfections each large part og. Additionally, there is a 1917 cover franked with War Stamp 1½ d. on 2½ d. deep blue horizontal strip of three Gi = £ 5'250+.
