1847-54 10d brown, die 3, a magnificent mint block of eight (4 x 2) from the top of the sheet, wonderfully fresh showing deep and bright colour and superb embossing, large to enormous margins all around (just clear in two places at foot), full original gum with several stamps remaining mint n.h., some creasing (just slightly cracks the surface on two impressions) as is fairly normal on most mint embossed multiples, though not affecting its magnificent overall appearance, an immensely rare multiple and a stunning exhibition showpiece.
