1867: 1 r. dark red, a horizontal strip of three, used on 20 June 1867 entire letter from San Salvador addressed to General Don (Mariscal Campo) Gregorio Solares (1821-1907) in Guatemala City, all cancelled by circular "SS" handstamps in blue-green ink. Third stamp with corner bend but a fine and very rare first issue franking. Signed Holcombe.

1867: ½ r. deep blue, a horizontal pair used on 1 January 1872 entire letter from San Miguel to the Italian Consul in Guatemala City, cancelled by unclear dotted obliterator handstamp in black. Fresh appearance, an extremely rare issue on letter - this item believed to be unique with the ½ real usage. Signed E. Diena.

1890/94: Postal Stationery, group of twenty-eight die proofs, eighteen for the Liberty figure, nine with President Ezeta portrait, predominately in negative form, including progressive and sunken die proofs, the latter in blue, red and black, mostly with no duty plate, printed or mounted on thick card, also composite proofs of the vignette only in blocks of four (3) in black, blue and red and three singles in the same colours, plus six coloured frames (four on coloured paper) with embossed colourless vignette and a 1894 die proof in red for the 11 c., an impressive and rarely seen collection. 1895: General Antonio Ezeta, collection of essays and die proofs (38), including a hand-drawn pencil composite of the frames, two different designs alongside each other, with a cut-out of the portrait inset, also progressive die proofs with pencil notes and detail of duty plate and frame sketched in, a number of working examples, as well as a mock-up with the vignette area cut from the frame and the portrait inserted, a number of proofs in green and brown without duty and others with values (1 c., 3 c., 5 c., 20 c. 24 c., 30 c. and 50 c. in black), together with Arms overprint proofs in red, blue and black printed on thin paper mounted on card, with thirteen die proofs, imperforate (different values), with various coloured overprints, a fine accumulation, rare. 1893: Columbus, collection of Hamilton Bank Note Co. die proofs and essays for the Isabela, Genoa and Palos values; 2 p., 5 p., and 10 p. (Scott 86-88), includes progressive proofs, sunken die proofs and handpainted frames for each of the values in black and white on thick biege card in a large format (85mm x 100mm), also top marginal imprint imperforate blocks of twenty of each value in unissued colours (brown, orange & violet respectivaley), plus imperforate marginal strips of four colour die proofs of each value (two of the 5 p. in different colours), all with the Hamilton imprint at base or top, plus blocks of four and horizonzal pairs in unissued colours of each value, some faults, although in the main fine and many very fine, a substantial assembly. 1873/74: Volcano, handstamped, group of singles and multiples, with range of type I and type II overprint, including set of four values in unused blocks of four, all top marginals with imprint (plus additional block of four 1 r. red); also bottom marginal strip of five ½ r. blue, unused type II; ½ r. and 1 r. unused singles with type I and a ½ r. and 2 r. used singles with type II all with double overprint error; set of four values in unused blocks of sixteen with type II; additionally a unused lower right corner marginal block of nine 4 r. yellow-brown (Scott 4a) and two examples of the 1 r. light red (Scott 2a) used with scarce violet shipping cancels, some imperfections and odd fault, useful assembly. 1890/1914: Accumulation of postal stationery covers and cards, comprising forty-two examples, including seven registered of which two have New York Exchange labels one to Germany the other to Swizerland, also a good range of uprated with different combination frankings, varied desitinations and postmarks, numerous types such as H&G 1, 2, 29, 40 onwards, noted scarce 1897 2 c. postal stationery wrapper (H&G E29) with additional 1 c. scarlet from San Salvador to Munich; a selection with overprints, official mailings (H&G DB4-6 & DB9 among others) and commercial; revalidated postal stationery 12 c.
