1867/1938: Collection of essays and die proofs, comprising forty-five items, including examples from Seebeck and Reister, noted 1892 unadopted unfinished coat of arms (eleven stars), 1867 Reister of Paris showing Liberty Cap above with Llama at right, also the outline of composite alongside, three recess die proofs of unissued designs prepared by the American Bank Note Company, the 1925 centenary 10 c. five progressive die proof on yellow paper, 1935 Map series both mail and air post complete set (22 examples) of small die proofs in issued colour each mounted upon card, accompanied by two master die proofs without value for both series and 1938 10 c. green postage due unadopted perforated essay in larger format and rare 1960 unissued Rotary International stamp essays produced by Lavadenz in La Paz, a significant group, some flaws although in the main fine, a scarce and valuable selection.
