1903 Cover with "DISCOVERY ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION 1901" crest depicting a penguin on the flap, written by Captain Scott and addressed in his handwriting to his sister Miss Scott in London, carried from the Antarctic by the S.Y "Morning" and posted upon its arrival at Lyttelton (March 25) franked by N.Z 1d, also bearing the very scarce blue vignette "NATIONAL ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION" with "DISCOVERY" written upon it in manuscript, backstamped at Christchurch. A fine and rare cover from Scott on the "Discovery", sent by the First Relief Expedition ship "Morning". Photo on Page 7.
