Lot 946 - g.b. postal history mulreadys and caricatures - Argyll Etkin Ltd Worldwide Stamps and Postal History #331843 (Sep 19) Southgate caricature envelope No. 2, "Ladies School", used from London to Hornchurch, Essex, paid 1d in cash, cancelled by red two line "1d PAID" handstamp and tombstone "PAID" datestamp with red octagonal "PD" datestamp on the front. Seal removed with the loss of part of the lower flap (the wording on flap complete) and a few minor stains, otherwise fine and an attractive example of this scarce caricature.
