1794 (July 10) Entire letter apparently written in France but posted within London, handstamped "B-GATE / WN2" and circular "(crown) / POST / PAID" in purple (L410), a very scarce handstamp only used June to October 1794 following the reform of the London Penny Post. Photo on Page 259.
