QV Covers and newspaper wrappers (6, one a front), pieces and stamps all various "T.O" numeral obliterators, issued to the Foreign Branch, probably standing for Travelling Office (or £Officer£), their exact use still uncertain. The scarce lot comprising horizontal oval "T.O.1" to "T.O.6" used to obliterate "PD" marks on covers (2, one with the stamp missing), on W.H Smith advert rings (a complete 2d wrapper + 6 pieces) or on single stamps (10, three on surface printed issues, "T.O.3" on a Canada 15c); vertical oval "TO/2" on stamps (3); and circular or oval "TO/2" on W.H Smith wrappers (2, one a front).
