Israel 1948 Doar Ivri postal History - 1948 1st flight cover from Israel to France by Air France ..Registered, franked 50mils Doar Ivri stamps (correct rate 35mil basic letter plus 15mil for registration), tied by Haifa postmarks June 10 1948. French arrival postmarks on back June 14 1948. Unknown address crossed out with one vertical wavy line.( notation at bottom back flap). Next the cover returned to Israel with Haifa ar/pm dated July 28 1948. Other French marking on front & back..retour..unknown..etc..VF.
