China, 1897 (27 Jan.) envelope to Darmstadt, Germany (4.3) redirected to Wiesbaden (4.3), showing "Ningpo Customs/Mail Matter" oval h.s., matching "Customs/Ningpo" double-ring d.s., and bearing France "Chine" 25c., cancelled by "Shang-hai/Chine" c.d.s. (28.1), with "Customs/Shanghai" double-ring d.s. (28.1) in brown and arrival c.d.s. on reverse, trivial cover tears at top, less than twenty examples of this Customs Mail Matter handstamp recorded, fine.
