1815 (May 26) Entire letter sent as a free frank from Carmarthen to Capt. Tyler of the 92nd Regt in London, franked "Picton", with a Carmarthen datestamp and red Free datestamp of London. Picton says "I have orders for Flanders" and writes about buying horses for the Regiment. Lt. General Sir Thomas Picton was the highest ranking Officer to be killed at the Battle of Waterloo in July 1815.
