U.S., Plate Number Single Collection, 1861-1940's (65//Q12). Impressive appearing collection of mostly plate number singles neatly presented in a Scott National album, although some of the more expensive stamps are stuck down in their mounts, there is considerable value contained in these pages, including excellent Washington Franklins, 340 x (2), and 341, 505 error in combination pair, and even a 547 plate single; 1922 flats include two examples of 572, there's numerous 1920's issues including a scarcer set of 1929 Kansas Nebraska complete 658-79; the 1938 Presidentials complete including some plate number pairs of the high values; Back of the book include C2-4, plus two C18's, a nice group of Special Delivery issues, and a nearly complete set of 1912 Parcel Post Issues Q1-4, and Q6-12; a very pleasing appearing collection with considerable value; too bad it was kept in a humid environment.

Extremely handsome three volume collection; neatly housed in two Lighthouse hingeless albums, plus a meticulously assembled stockbook of duplicates; although the quality is a bit mixed, you'll find a nice selection of saleable stamps beginning with a choice used #9, plus #15 in the 1851's; the 1857 perforated issues include 63/78 some with nice cancels; 1867 grills include an assortment of E and F grills; 1869 Pictorials include 112-119, plus a 120 (shaved proof); excellent 1870's Banknote issues include 155, 166, and 218; 1893 Columbians complete to 30 cent value; the 1894-98 Bureau issues include 246-257, plus 259-60, 264-273, 275, plus 279-84 all mint although the condition is a bit on the rough side; 1898 Trans-Mississippi's include 285-288, and a 290; 1901 Pan Americans are complete 294-99; 1902's include 300-309; there's 323-27 and 328-30 complete; Washington Franklins include 331-40, 343-47, some dubious flat plate coils including a 350 coil pair that counterfeit - although it is accompanied by a Bill Weiss certificate stating that it is "genuine in all respects"; there's 357-8 Bluish paper; 374-381, 397-400, and 401-403; other Washington Franklins include 405-07, 414-18, 424-39, and a 461 that's counterfeit - even though it is accompanied by a Bill Weiss certificate stating that "it is genuine and never hinged"; there's a 444 line pair with A.P.S. certificate, 448, and 450 pairs, 452 line pair, and 457-8 coil pairs; there's 462-66, and 466-74, along with 486-97 coil pairs (no 491); there's 498-518 (no 500 or 505); plus offset and imperforate issues; the 1922 Flats include 551-72, plus 578-9, and 581-91, along with 1929 Kansas-Nebraska complete 658-79; 1938 Presidentials are complete 803-34 along with the coils; plus there's a set of Liberty series 1030-53; the Back of the book includes Airmails C18; Special Delivery issues include E1-3, E5 (2), and E7-8; Postage Dues include J1, 3, J15-19, and J22-25, plus a nice selection of the more recent issues; Parcel Post Dues are complete JQ1-5, along with attractive Ducks RW4-25; a second Hingeless album is loaded with many better used stamps plus over $200 face value stamps; you'll find numerous less expensive nice quality used stamps in this desirable album; although the quality isn't the greatest, there is a ton of catalog value here for any ebay dealer looking for alot of bang for his buck; careful examination highly recommended.
