1939/45, extensive collection "DER ITALIENISCHE SÜDATLANTISCHE LUFTPOSTDIENST 1939-41 (VIA L.A.T.I)" with several hundred letters from and to South America incl. a good part of the airmail lines after LATI was discontinued in 20 folders. Including several covers from the first flight in 1939 with, among others, feeders from Rodi, Switzerland and the Vatican (without special cancellations), plenty of demand mail from the German Reich including airmail wrappers and further feeders from Bohemia & Moravia, one letter each from the Generalgouvernement and DP Alsace, Belgium, Denmark, Yugoslavia, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Slovakia, Spain and Hungary. The section with covers from South America is also very extensive, including the "First flight Rio de Janeiro - Buenos Aires" section with better covers and special features. In addition, further special features of the mailing incl. complete "coffee" linen bags", censorship, return mail etc., all on self-designed album pages and lots of literature or pieces with photos from auction catalogues.
