Russian P.O. in Tripoli of Syria 1869 (Jan 30): Part cover from Tripoli to Mersina, bearing on reverse a horizontal strip of four adhesives of the 1866 10 pa. rose & blue, cancelled by mute diamond of dots with TRIPOLI cds in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 211) on front. Two stamps at left touched at top, nevertheless an appealing item from this rare office.
