1876: 2 d. yellow (Type B) and 1 s. deep green (Type C), perf. 14 x 12½, single used examples on 1881 cover to Budapest, Hungary each tied by segmented cork handstamps (Hibbert CNA 16) in black and "ST. HELENA" despatch cds alongside (Oct 31). Manuscript "7½" rate split as overpaid ½d. on despatch due to unavailability of the ½d. value. Opened for Exhibit display and slight edge wear to envelope but a most attractive cover to an extremely unusual destination at this date.
