1871/1951: Collection of mainly unused material presented in a Marini red album comprising 25 pages, includes hand-picked choice examples predominately with part or large part og. and in fresh condition. There are sets including Specimens, blocks of four and other multiples such as 1891/98 Canoe 1 d. rosy-mauve block of 25 (Gi 92) unmounted and a handful of used examples and covers. Noted amongst others; On paper lithographed "VR" 1877 1 d. dull blue on wove paper perf. 12½ unused good centering and fine colour showing variety "Void Corner" at top left (Row 2, stamp 1, position 11) horizontal gum crease although fresh (Gi 28), 1915/19 WAR STAMP ½ d. blue-green with variety "Overprint Inverted" (Gi 138c) slight bend and gum toned (not mentioned on BPA cert.) otherwise fine; Postage Due examples including sets/specimens (Gi D6s/D10s+D11s-D18s) and 1917 Postage Due 2 d. black on yellowish horizontally laid paper perf. 11 Wide Setting (Gi D3) unused horizontal pair (ex collection Sir Lacon Threlford, Harmers, London, 16 June 1975, lot 248).
