(K29(1)b), Imperforate Proof  for 1½ d. value, printed in blue without value tablets on wmk.crown white paper (K29) corner marginal vertical pair produced for the proposed "Reply Paid Essays" (creasing), five specimen examples of the 1½ d. dull purple & pale green (3 type 9 & 3 type 12) including a side marginal, 1886 Plate Proof for 3 d. value printed in black on green on poor quality unwatermarked wove paper an imperforate block of four, three specimen examples and one corner marginal horizontal pair 10 d. dull purple & carmine the latter showing variety "Clipped SW corner to right Value Tablet and Plate Crack below" and a 9 d. dull purple & bright blue used block of twelve with 'Shotton Common' cds.
