1933: Fort Platanillos Airmail Provisional, 1919 5 c. green, vertical pair, with "HABILITADO / CORREO AEREO / 30 Cvs. / PLATANILLOS" provisional red surcharge, used on cover, from Platanillos to Cordillera, tied by "SUBADMINISTRACION DE CORREOS / PLATANILLOS / BOLIVIA" cachet in violet with a further strike alongside, military cachet for army corps cachet top left in black, blue censor marks to back and "SUBADMINISTRACION DE CORREOS / CHARAGUA /BOLIVIA" in purple-black, has been folded vertically and horizontally well clear of adhesives, a fine and rare example; two covers and twelve stamps known. There is a small note inside the envelope relating to military airmail and the Platanillos post office. Ex the Brian Moorhouse Estate.
