1859: Double rate Cover from Paris to London, bearing horizontal pair of Napoléon imperf. 80 c. carmine, a fine and fresh multiple with even large margins, tied by light 'Pointillé fin' mute obliterator in black. Indistinct Paris despatch cds, framed PD in red and London tombstone datestamp in red (Aug 26) alongside. Reverse with Paris - Calais (Aug 26, 55) ambulant cds. Some edge wear and horizontal file fold, nevertheless an appealing piece of postal history, signed A. Diena.
