1937 1d green die proof in the issued colour on highly surfaced card (100x121mm) with 'COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA/.../Proof pulled from the die of 1d stamp design' label affixed at the base BW #ES75(DP)1, Cat $12,500. Superb! Illustrated at page 242. [This embossing was also used for Stamped to Order Envelopes. The ACSC states this is the only recorded example]
