Postage Due, 1914, 50¢ carmine lake (Scott J58), inverted "Chicago, Illinois" precancel, unusually large margins handsome example of this elusive used stamp that catalogs for $1,600.00 with a regular cancellation; for some reason Scott's value for a precancelled example is significantly less; small crease along bottom right corner, otherwise Fine to Very Fine, with 1989 P.F. certificate.
