Auction 333-341 Nigeria, Cameroon, Sudan & Worldwide Postal History - Day 4

"El Sol de Mayo" 1856 (Oct 1): Carrier 1 real vermilion, a very fine example of excellent colour (position 21), good margins on two sides, shaved as usual on the other two sides, neatly tied to small piece by manuscript pen cross in black ink. Less than five examples are recorded on piece (two were housed in the "Concordia" collection) and very fine for this rare stamp Scott = $ 400.
