British Cameroon 1927: Nigeria 2 d. brown, postal stationery envelope, used with a 1921 2 d. chestnut, from Buea to Berlin, Germany, dated 21 October 1930, cancelled by the "BUEA / UNDER BRITISH MANDATE" skeleton in black (earliest recorded date for this postmark). To the back a "VICTORIA NIGERIA" double circle datestamp 2 June 1930. A fine example. The additional franking made this 1d too much as the postage rate for foreign letters was 3d.
