1867/81: Laureated 6 d. light blue, contemporary fault, used on 1883 cover to Carlisle, UK tied by "Melbourne / Vctoria" duplex (May 28) in black, returned with frameds "MISSENT TO / CARLTON" at left with manuscript "Victoria" below and remailed from Melbourne (May 29). Carried on "Ballarat" to Galle, "Hydaspes" to Suez where, disinfected due to Egyptian Cholera outbreak; thence on the "Ganges" to Plymouth with Carlisle cds (July 23) on reverse. Scarce - just two Mails were treated thus due to the Egyptian cholera epidemic.
