1853/1867: Selection of eight stampless covers, four with "STEAMSHIP" markings, once sent 1865 with complete original fascinating contents from Santiago to Oakland (USA) with oval "STEAM / PANAMA" handstamp in black and fine "San Francisco" arrival cds, three further covers sent from Valparaiso to New York, carried via Panama and a cover into New York with "6" in circle, also three covers endorsed via Panama, one which has framed "Via Panama = Inglaterra" in green, two with forwarding agent markings and one which from Manchester to Valparaiso, condition mixed, although to be expected for transatlantic mail, scarce.
