1860 Provisional Government, the famed 3L ocher, very lightly cancelled, full margins at top and bottom, close but clear at left, just cut in at lower right, otherwise completely sound, with beautiful fresh color. A fine and affordable example of this iconic rarity from Tuscany. This stamp was only in circulation for a short period of time, and it is considered to be the "key" to the Italian States collection.
