Lebanon British office, small cover sent from Beirut on 16/2/1886 to Constantinople franked with 1P/2½d lilac stamp accepted in the post office but taxed because officially the Ottoman destinations were un-permitted. British post office arrival datestamp on 27/2/1886 and trasmission to Ottoman post showed by dater postmark on the same day. SCARCE.
