1871 (Feb 6):. Packet front from Macao to the Chief Postmaster in Lisbon, with private handstamp ‘Via Gibraltar’ at top. Rated at £6.8s. and franked by 1863/71 96c. brownish-grey with a staggering 31 examples cancelled by thirty-three strikes of the “B62” killer. Several stamps with trimmed perf and one stamp with tear which should not distract its importance. Crown ‘pago em Macao’ handstamp and Macao origin cds alongside. Gibraltar transit 19 Mar. The highest franking commercial mail of Hong Kong during QV reign. Only 3 covers (all fronts) with large multiple franking are known. Provenance: Ishikawa. Corinphila 2003. Lot 5694.

1871年。. 澳門郵局寄葡京里斯本郵政總局局長總包封皮，交澳門英國郵局遞送，郵資6鎊8先令，貼香港96先郵票31枚，下方蓋“澳門已付”皇冠戳，和澳門英局發戳（2月6日），以B62殺手戳蓋銷，有3月19日直布羅陀中轉戳。部分票齒孔被剪、一枚票有損，但無損其重要性！是香港維多利亞女皇時期貼用最高郵資的商業郵件，Webb插圖另有兩件貼用十多枚高面值的總包封皮存世，都不如它。
