1891-92 surcharged 1/2d on 4d lilac and carmine, eight examples on cover to Trinidad tied Tobago JY 30 97 cds cancels, with no fewer than four of the stamps showing the 'space between 1/2 and d' variety (two 3.5mm, one 4.25mm and one 4.5mm, S.G. £250 each), 'Registration Trinidad AU 2 97' on reverse. Undoubtedly philatelic but an attractive and scarce cover nonetheless.
