British Protectorate (1815-1864) 1862: Entire letter from Lefkas to Venice struck with fine strike of small "LEFKAS" cds in blue (Nov 16) with "15/10" kreuzer rate in manuscript below. "1" (penny) presumed ship's captain's fee paid in red, reverse with "Venezia" arrival cds (Nov 21) and oval Distribution handstamp in black. Superb.
