India used in Burma, 1869 (April 27): Cover to Rotterdam, redirected to Amsterdam, franked with 1865 8 p. mauve and 1 a. brown, postmarked Rangoon and tied by indistinct commercial oval handstamp, endorsed "via Trieste", manuscript "1" in blue for the share of postage to India, and "10" in black denoting 10c due from recipient, reverse with Calcutta / India / Paid (3 May), Rotterdam (30 May), blue 1-½ c. / Amsterdam foreign printed matter tax marking, and Amsterdam receiver (30 May), a few small stains, but a rare usage to the Netherlands.
