U.S. Navy-Navy Day 1945 Collection. 87 covers postmarked October 27, 1945 (Navy Day), this was the first day after the war when ships were permitted to use the new T-2n name cancels issued after the war ended, this is a very nice group all postmarked 10-27-45, most all are cacheted with some scarce ships such as the sub USS Ray noted, please examine.
