Auction 333-341 Nigeria, Cameroon, Sudan & Worldwide Postal History - Day 4

Pahang 1890 (Dec): Straits 2 c. bright rose overprinted "PAHANG" (Type 4), a used example on 1890 cover addressed to Singapore tied by diamond of bars obliterator in black (Proud Type K1, believed to be the sole recorded example) with "KWALA-KUBU" cds alongside (Proud D1) dated December 11th in black. Manuscript notation in blue crayon "Try K.L. first" and, on reverse "Kwala Lumpur" cds (Dec 13) in black. An exceptional cover of enormous rarity.
