1931/1937: Selection of twelve air mail covers, including scarce 1931 Royal Air Force 47 Squadron envelope (insignia to flap) sent from the RAF station in Khartoum to Kent, England; two First flight large format Sudan Postal Administration envelopes (27 x 21cm) used to carry covers on the stages from Juba to Nairobi, with violet cachet 'FIRST FLIGHT / Juba to Cape Town' to one, unique pair. Also, three internal mails, four covers to Britain, one cover to Greece and one to Uganda, all carried by Imperial Airways service; includes 1934 RAF envelope from Juba to Entebbe, Uganda, also a 1934 registered cover sent from Gebel Aulia to Metelin, Greece, carried via Athens. Neatly presentzed on 7 exhibition pages, some faults although generaly fine. Scarce assembly (12).
