1882/1909: Three covers each with a bisect franking, comprising an 1882 50 c. green diagonally bisected tied by Puerto Cabello datestamp to USA (Scott 77a) comes with a Friedl certificate (1984) has opening tear top and soiled, very scarce; 1907 Sucre 50 c. plum vertical bisect used on cover from La Plazuela to Maracaibo (Scott 235 var) the stamp appears to have been previously used; and 1909 Sucre 15 c. violet single used in combination with a diagonally bisected examples tied by Tovar datestamp sent to Maracaido (Scott 233 and 233 var), scarce trio of covers. Ex the Brian Moorhouse Estate.
