British Protectorate 1815-1864 1833 (June 2): Entire letter from Corfu from the British Consul to Venice, endorsed "Imp. Reg. Consolato" and "D'Offo", sent with printed enclosure, showing large part of British Consular red wax seal of despatch, on arrival disinfected by overall toasting with "TERGESTI SANITATIS" red wax seal applied in Trieste upon arrival (see Meyer pages 101-102) and straight line arrival of TRIEST (June 22) in blue. Seals in very fine condition: a fine and scarce entire.
