1859 (February 25): Cover from Port Louis to Amsterdam franked with 1858 (4 d.) green, four good to large margins all around, cancelled with black target cancel and tied by manuscript accountancy notation, Mauritius double split-ring despatch alongside, endorsed "Par Maurice - via Aden & Marseille", the adhesive paying the outgoing ship letter rate only, struck thus with boxed INDIA UNPAID, several manuscript rate and accountancy notations, reverse with Aden Str. Point transit (29 Mar) and Amsterdam receiver (23 Apr), some light edge toning, a scarce franking to an uncommon destination.
