1913 (Jan 18) Cover addressed to "Commander R.E Byrd, New York, U.S.A" with Victoria Land 1d tied by the Antarctic c.d.s. Byrd went on to lead five Antarctic expeditions between 1928 and 1956 as well as a successful Trans-Atlantic flight in 1927 and an unsuccessful attempt to fly to the North Pole in 1926.
