1863: Regno, postage due stamp 10 c. orange with full original gum, unmounted, originating from a block of 6, which is pictured on the reverse of the certificate, which is understood for a '1a', In the meantime, the cataloguing in Sassone has been updated; the orange variant is now classified as 1b. Raybaudi certificate (2015). Sassone = € 4'000.

Mauretania 1906/76c.: Collection in two large blue Frank Godden albums mounted for Exhibit display, with 1906 first issue unused set of 16 excl. 45 c., and the set of 16 values used (Yvert = € 450), followed by range of 117 covers/cards with village cancellations from Aleg (1908), Boghé (1908), Boutilinit (1913), Kaedi (1907) and two registered covers (1909), Tidikdja (1907), 1 fr. on 1906 cover from France tied by "Port du Levrier" cds, Faidherbe 10 c. and bisected diagonally 20 c. used on 1907 cover to Bordeaux tied by "Port Etienne" cds and further attractive 1913 card usage at 3 c. to Levrier Bay; 1906 Military cover with 10 c. tied "Selibaby" cds in red countersigned by Commanding Officer, 1915 Military concession covers (2) from Aleg, 'Desert Riders' issues unused and used incl. 1922 25 c. carmine & green, used example with centre displaced; further range of covers with 1919 cover from Atar to India, 1915 cover from Nouakchott,  1913 5 c. green in Booklets (2) of 40 examples complate, 1928 Military concession cover from Atar, further covers from towns as listed above and Akjoujt, Chinguetti, Dakar, Fort Gouraud (3), Kiffa, Mederdra, Moudjeria, Tamchakett, Tidjikja, Matam, Podor (Senegal), later covers incl. Airmail usages from Atar, Boutililmit and Rosso, and rare Postage Due cover with 20 c. handstamped by triangular "T" marking, 1906 Postage Dues used (4), 1908 cover with 1906 Postage Due 30 c., 1934 Military Flight cover from Atar to Port Etienne (rare) and further airmail covers (9), 1957 cover to Paris sent registered with short-lived "OFF / A" imperf. label in orange (in use for one year only) and article from the American Philatelist on this cover. The whole sold with the owner's notes and references (for example - it should be noted that in 1911 there were just 144 Europeans in Mauretania), a splendid collection with viewing a pleasure.

1864: 4 d. carmine (Type B, 18 mm.), a used horizontal pair on 1868 cover to Rochefort sur Mer, France endorsed 'voie Anglaise', cancelled by segmented cork obliterators and by '10' décimes due handstamp in black. Oval framed 'ST. HELENA' despatch (March 13) in blue and London transit (April 7). Struck in London with framed "GB 2F" accountancy handstamp in black and straight line "INSUFFICIENTLY PAID" in black. The cover was fully paid for under ¼ ounce, so found to be overweight in London and taxed '10' décimes due on arrival. Rounded corner to envelope at lower right but a very rare cover.
