1916 KGV 5/- purple on red, wmk mult crown CA, large keytype 'Revenue / Revenue'. (Nigeria was the only colony to have issued both the small keytype stamps as 'Postage / Revenue' as well as the large KGV keytype as 'Revenue / Revenue', both for low & high denominations. The reasons for the issue of the separate large 'Revenue' keytype are obscure but they were clearly tiny printings & probably only used for some specific purpose). F-VF F/C with perfin, sl surface scuffs as always. Bft 6 cat £350+ & undercatalogued. Extremely rare with only tiny number recorded - 1st example we have ever seen. (P)
