South West Africa: 1893 Registered cover franked precursor use of Eagle 20pf ultramarine & 25pf orange-yellow (4), each tied by 'Windhoek 3/7 93' cds, with reg label, with London & Capetown transit, plus 'Sonderburg' arrival b/s (then in Germany, now in Denmark). Mi VS48b & VS49a cat €2085+++, SG Z18 & Z19 cat £2625+++ as loose stamps, plus large premium on properly used cover. Rare early use of the 25pf better shade, plus only 1 year after the Windhoek PO opened & probably a unique franking. 2022 Ceremuga photo cert. (P)
