British Post Office in Smirna 1875: Great Britain 1¼ d. brown on buff postal stationery card, a used example to Brighton cancelled by "F87" obliterator with "SMYRNA" code A cds adjacent (Sept 11, 1875). Brighton arrival (Sept 21) on reverse of card addressed to Stafford Smith. A fine and rare usage - the card was issued in May 1875 and the rate was reduced in 1881.
